A clear idea of the lunacy of the Pangea proposal can be gained by considering the shipping. The company envisages 3000 tonnes a year of nuclear waste travelling on a fleet of dedicated ships - more waste in a few years than all that has been transported since WWII. This proposal should be scrapped on these grounds alone.
