Joining of South West Anti Nuclear Group (SWANG)

On Tuesday the 6th December 2005 at the ANAWA monthly meeting a proposal from a duly constituted meeting of the South West Anti Nuclear Group was put to the ANAWA representatives.

A letter and a set minutes from SWANG was presented to the committee. This sought status as an affiliate group of the Anti Nuclear Alliance of Western Australia.

Over the years SWANG has developed from being an associate of CANNWA to a stand alone organisation that has developed its own membership throughout the south west and from Margaret River and Bridgetown.

SWANG still maintains many members of the original Bunbury Peace Group formed during the cold war period.

The membership of ANAWA has agreed to accept the application from SWANG and looks forward to working with them over the coming years.

NEW Contact details for SWANG are:
